How it works
- Each day you use your Mac for at least 15 minutes counts as a care day. Plants and your pet grow a little on every care day.
- Days you don't use your Mac are skipped, so travel never makes you miss anything. Pick a 30, 60 or 90 care-day pace in Settings.
- Click the paw print in the menu bar for the garden panel, plants, tools and Settings.
- Feed your pet once a day by clicking its bowl.
Common questions
I can't see the paw print in the menu bar.
Too many menu bar icons push it out of view. Hold ⌘ and drag a few icons off the menu bar.
What happens if I forget to feed my pet?
A little bowl appears over its head. Feed it once and it's happy again. Nothing is lost.
Why does Growlet ask for my location?
Only to match the garden's weather to the real weather outside, using Apple Weather. It's optional: turn off Real local weather in Settings and the garden makes up its own weather.
The garden disappears when I open an app full screen.
That's on purpose. Growlet steps aside whenever an app goes full screen or covers the desktop, and comes back when you return to the desktop.
Can I keep my progress on another Mac?
Yes. With Sync progress with iCloud on (Settings → System), your garden, pet and field guide follow you to every Mac signed in to the same iCloud account.
My original wallpaper is gone.
While Growlet runs it shows the garden as your wallpaper, and puts your own wallpaper back when you quit or turn off Use the garden as your desktop wallpaper.
How do I change the language?
Settings → System → Language, then relaunch Growlet.

Growlet ("the app") does not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal data. We have no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.
What stays on your Mac
- Garden progress and settings are stored on your Mac.
- Wallpaper: when the garden is used as your desktop wallpaper, Growlet saves the garden images on your Mac and remembers your previous wallpaper so it can put it back. Deleting the app removes this data.
Apple services you control
- Location and Apple Weather: if you allow it, the app uses your approximate location (rounded to about 1 km) to ask Apple Weather (WeatherKit) for the current weather. The location goes only to Apple's weather service for that request; the app does not store it and it never reaches us. Turn it off in Settings or in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services.
- iCloud: if Sync progress with iCloud is on, your garden progress is saved in your own iCloud account using Apple's iCloud key-value storage, so it can follow you to your other Macs. We cannot access it.
Children
The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.

選單列圖示太多時它會被擠掉。按住 ⌘ 把幾個圖示拖出選單列，它就會出現。
忘了餵寵物會怎樣？
牠頭上會冒出一個小飯碗，餵一次就好了，不會失去任何東西。
為什麼要取得我的位置？
只用來讓花園的天氣和外面的真實天氣一致（資料來自 Apple 天氣）。這是選用的，在設定裡關掉「真實天氣」，花園就會自己安排天氣。
打開全螢幕 App 時花園不見了？
這是刻意的。有 App 全螢幕或蓋住桌面時，Growlet 會讓開，回到桌面時再出現。
可以在另一台 Mac 繼續養嗎？
可以。在設定 → 系統打開「透過 iCloud 同步進度」，登入同一個 iCloud 帳號的 Mac 上，花園、寵物和圖鑑都會保持一致。
我原本的桌布不見了？
Growlet 執行時會把花園設成桌布，結束 Growlet 或關掉「把花園設成桌面桌布」時會換回你原本的桌布。
怎麼切換語言？
設定 → 系統 → 語言，選好後重新開啟 Growlet。

Growlet（下稱「本 App」）不收集、不在我們的伺服器上儲存，也不分享任何個人資料。我們沒有伺服器、沒有帳號、沒有分析工具，也沒有廣告。
存在你 Mac 上的資料
- 花園進度和設定存在你的 Mac 上。
- 桌布：把花園設成桌布時，Growlet 會把花園圖片存在你的 Mac 上，並記住你原本的桌布，以便之後換回來。刪除 App 就會一併刪除這些資料。
由你控制的 Apple 服務
- 位置與 Apple 天氣：如果你允許，本 App 會用你的大致位置（精確到約 1 公里）向 Apple 天氣（WeatherKit）查詢目前天氣。位置只會在查詢時傳給 Apple 的天氣服務，本 App 不會儲存，也不會傳給我們。可以在設定，或系統設定 → 隱私權與安全性 → 定位服務中關閉。
- iCloud：打開「透過 iCloud 同步進度」時，你的花園進度會用 Apple 的 iCloud 鍵值儲存存在你自己的 iCloud 帳號裡，讓你在其他 Mac 上繼續養。我們無法存取。
兒童
本 App 不會收集任何人的個人資料，包括兒童。

よくある質問
メニューバーに肉球が見当たりません。
メニューバーのアイコンが多すぎると隠れてしまいます。⌘ を押しながら、いくつかのアイコンをメニューバーの外へドラッグしてください。
ごはんをあげ忘れたらどうなりますか？
頭の上に小さなお茶わんが出ます。1 回あげれば元気になり、何も失われません。
なぜ位置情報を使うのですか？
庭の天気を外の本当の天気に合わせるためだけです（Apple 天気のデータを使用）。オプションなので、設定で「現地の天気」をオフにすれば、庭が自分で天気を決めます。
フルスクリーンのアプリを開くと庭が消えます。
意図した動作です。アプリがフルスクリーンになったりデスクトップを覆ったりすると Growlet はよけて、デスクトップに戻ると再び現れます。
別の Mac で続きから育てられますか？
はい。設定 → システムで「iCloud で進み具合を同期」をオンにすると、同じ iCloud アカウントの Mac で庭・ペット・図鑑がそろいます。
元の壁紙がなくなりました。
Growlet の実行中は庭を壁紙として表示し、終了するか「庭をデスクトップの壁紙にする」をオフにすると元の壁紙に戻します。
言語を変えるには？
設定 → システム → 言語で選び、Growlet を再起動してください。

Growlet（以下「本アプリ」）は、個人データを収集したり、当方のサーバーに保存したり、共有したりすることはありません。サーバー、アカウント、分析ツール、広告はいずれもありません。
Mac に保存されるもの
- 庭の進み具合と設定はお使いの Mac に保存されます。
- 壁紙：庭を壁紙にしているとき、Growlet は庭の画像を Mac に保存し、元に戻せるよう以前の壁紙を記録します。アプリを削除するとこれらのデータも削除されます。
あなたが管理する Apple のサービス
- 位置情報と Apple 天気：許可した場合、本アプリはおおよその位置（約 1 km 単位）を使って Apple 天気（WeatherKit）に現在の天気を問い合わせます。位置はその問い合わせのために Apple の天気サービスへ送られるだけで、本アプリは保存せず、当方に届くこともありません。設定、またはシステム設定 → プライバシーとセキュリティ → 位置情報サービスでオフにできます。
- iCloud：「iCloud で進み具合を同期」がオンのとき、庭の進み具合は Apple の iCloud キー値ストレージを使ってあなた自身の iCloud アカウントに保存され、ほかの Mac でも続きから育てられます。当方はアクセスできません。

本アプリは、お子さまを含むどなたからも個人データを収集しません。
